1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rooted Intelligence AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Rooted Intelligence AI provides compliance management software for cannabis operations, including automated monitoring, alerting, reporting, and analytics. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be 21+ years old and legally authorized to operate a cannabis business
• One account per organization; do not share credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Use the Service for illegal cannabis operations
• Resell or redistribute the Service

5. Compliance Responsibility

Important: While our Service helps monitor compliance, YOU are ultimately responsible for ensuring your operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The Service provides tools and alerts but does not guarantee compliance.

6. Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• All sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
• Non-payment may result in service suspension
• 14-day free trial available for new customers

7. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to your data. We claim no ownership. Upon termination, you may export your data. We will delete your data within 90 days of account closure, except as required for legal compliance (7-year retention for audit logs).

8. Service Level Agreement

We guarantee 99.9% uptime measured monthly. See our SLA page for details on service credits for downtime exceeding this threshold.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOTED INTELLIGENCE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR REGULATORY FINES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rooted Intelligence AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your access will cease and outstanding fees become due.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Denver, Colorado.
